Bradford Road Safety Grant

Every year, the Vermont Agency of Transportation brings together the police departments from around the state is help make the roads safer.  One of the things this meeting is focusing on, is the agency awarding grants to towns to help pay for what they need to do their job better with the use of the Governor's Highway Safety Fund.

New Police Cruiser in Bradford

Fall Vermonster 2014

vermonster finalBRADFORD- This past weekend marked the 9th annual 4x4 Vermonster, which took place on the Connecticut Valley Fairgrounds in Bradford. 

Vermonster is an action-packed, off-roading, monster truck festival that takes place rain or shine. This year, the festival featured nothing but blue skies and temperatures in the 70s.

Olympians Spooked by Ghosts

Oxbow Gallops Past the Ghosts

oxbow becca towleBRADFORD - Wednesday evening the Lady Olympians of Oxbow played host to the Randolph Galloping Ghosts in a soccer match both teams desperately needed to win to avoid falling to 0-3. Oxbow had lost their first two games by six goals each, while Randolph lost a pair of close match-ups including a 1-0 loss to Northfield last Friday.

Vermont's Poet Laureate Passionate About Poetry

sydneyleaBRADFORD - Sydney Lea has been writing for a large portion of his life, and he was named Vermont's Poet Laureate in 2011. Lea lives in the Northeast Kingdom, where he resides in Newbury, but he came from a much different background.  Born in Philadelphia in 1942, Sydney has lived all over the world, from a fellowship he took in 1988 in Siena, Italy, to his time spent teaching in Budapest, Hungary or Lugano, Switzrland.
