METEOROLOGIST: Mitchell Most

Good Afternoon! We have been dealing with some snow showers all morning and throughout the afternoon across most of the region. We will see those snow showers continue as we head through the evening commute and into tonight. Before those snow showers taper off by midnight, we could see some rain and sleet mix in as temperatures rise to just around freezing. Expect about 2-3 inches of snow accumulation through this evening. Low temperatures tonight will be hovering around 30 degrees for much of the region. The good news is that the snow showers will dissipate by midnight, leaving us with a few clouds as we head into the early morning hours of Saturday. Those clouds will clear as we head into Saturday afternoon, leaving us with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the low 40's. Sunday also looks to be warmer and clear during the day, but our next system will arrive Sunday night with the chance to bring us some mixed precipitation into Monday. Be sure to stay tuned to your forecast for more details, but for now have a great weekend!
