LYNDONVILLE— In 2005, Chris Dorsey enrolled at Lyndon State College to further his collegiate basketball career and pursue a degree in Exercise Science. While playing under coach Eric Berry, Dorsey and the rest of the 2005-06 Hornets finished at the top of the conference with a school-best 23-5 record. As a point guard, Dorsey averaged 20 points, ten assists, and about five rebounds per game during the 2005-06 season.

Playing For Purpose LYNDONVILLE – This season isn’t simply business as usual for the Lyndon State College Men’s Basketball team. The team finished in fourth place in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) standings as they head into the playoffs. But the Hornet’s play on the court hasn’t been the only thing turning heads this season. The team has been very active in the community. They have held autograph sessions after games for fans and even visited local schools to discuss paying for college and what it’s like to be the first in their family to go to college.

LYNDONVILLE - The Tank that sits outside of the Lyndonville National Guard Armory is not only a decorative piece, it's also a symbol of what used to be. The Armory wasn't always what is today; it used to serve as something different than an infantry unit with a focus on mountain warfare. About 20 years ago, the armory transitioned into an infantry unit, which is when they stopped keeping and using tanks. However, the Unit kept and still use a number of wheeled military vehicles.
