Beginning Details On State Reopening

VERMONT- Today, Governor Phil Scott clarified a couple of issues that Vermonters are expecting to hear more about in the next coming week. While the details were sparse, the administration is still looking at how Vermont will operate as the state slowly re-opens some areas.

To start with, Scott is planning on releasing more information regarding his relaxing the "Stay home, Stay safe" order come next Monday. Scott still plans on keeping Vermont in a state of emergency in case the administration needs to quickly respond to the ongoing pandemic.

Scott clarified organized sports will not open up in the way that everyone is used to, but if teams can work out how they can practice while keeping six feet apart and with less than ten people, that should be fine. Baseball parks and the like will be opened up for anyone to use, so long as there is not a gathering of more than ten people.

Updates on highschool graduation will be released this Friday.
