Kingdom East School District's voting results have come in.

Kingdome East School District released their voting result last night. These result came with an exciting announcement, their budget was passed. 

The school district had proposed a budget of $50,349,157 which is over a 2 million dollar increase. They plan to spend over 13 thousand dollars per student to ensure every student can reach their full potential academically and social-emotionally. Some meeitng attendees were unsure about this number as it came with a tax rate increase of over 5.8%. Fortunatley, the budget got passed, allowing the district to follow through with their plans. 

With the passing of the budget, the district can continue to guarentee their best efforts. They can continue to hire high end staff and fund out of school programs. Experimental learning programs and summer camps are guarenteed to continue to be offered with their budget.

The Kingdom East School District has sent our their gratitude for the community and is very excited to enter the new school year with this budget imporvement.
