Dozens of folks showed up at the St. J Distillery’s release party this past Sunday.

As a recap, the distillery finally got to promote their new drink Malvado Maple Mezcal in collaboration with singer/actor Stevie Van Zandt. News7’s Christy Switser had the privilege to speak with Stevie before the party officially started. “So we’re gonna be spreading it around the states, and I don’t know, we’ll spend a few months on this one and then we’ll come out with another one”, (Stevie Van Zandt). Besides the distillery, Stevie mentioned his friend David Roth who played a role in this connection and steps to make this happen. The rest of the night consisted of people getting to sample the drink along with food, and hear speeches from Stevie, David, and Brendon the co-owner. Folks were also able to purchase signed bottles, and get their photo taken with Stevie. This was a great way to incorporate close family, friend’s, and customers with something truly unique in this region.
