Danville school is hosting this year's Minor and Major League tryouts for the 2025 baseball season.

Brittany Petty, president of this organization, along with other coaches and volunteers assisted in the Major League tryouts this past Wednesday from 7-9pm. While this league has two fields in St.J, she expressed how grateful they are to have this space, since it’s been put on hold before. “We haven’t been able to get onto the field until mid April, if not end of April which has kind of left us at a disadvantage”. “We want kids to be coming out, we want them doing a spring sport weather it be little league or any other spring sport because the last thing we wanna do is have a kid that wants to play a sport and not come out”, (Brittany Petty). 

What’s important to note is that anyone can make the team, this makes the process more fun as it’s something they want to do. 

For anyone new to joining, it is required to try out and essentially assess where your kids should be placed.
