The Kingdom Kids Bike Swap

Lyndon - Spring is finally here, and the annual Kingdom Kids Bike Swap is returning to Lyndon once more. On April 17th, community members were able to drop off bikes they wanted to sell or donate, and the next day, those bikes were for sale at affordable prices for the upcoming season. The Kingdom Kids Bike Swap also pledges its proceeds to local outdoor programs.

“Most of what we do at this point is going to get kids on the slopes, but we also do some mountain biking programming and some after-school programming for the schools that we are helping with their monetary needs. So that's kind of what we do. For the bike swap, people come and drop off bikes that they want to sell, or some people donate,” said Libby Ratico, a member of kingdom kids.

“And then tomorrow, lots of people will line up and come in and get bikes. I would say that's our other goal—and probably our main goal of the bike swap—is just to see lots of kids and people getting bikes as the spring starts and getting out there riding,” said Morgan Moore, another member of kingdom kids.
