LI VT Studio Center Collab

Lyndon Institute is planning to collab with Vermont Studio Center in which will support students in visual arts programs.

LI’s theater, dance, and music programs are now getting more access to opportunities surrounding the arts, and the best part is getting to learn from adult professionals who do this for a living. Brian Bloomfield, headmaster, explained how the Artist in Residence program came to be.“Students who have that mindset or maybe trying to develop what’s interesting to them and a great way for artists to come and see the Northeast Kingdom in what we have to offer as a place to live and work year round”, (Brian Bloomfield). The collab is featured with arts administration, as well as the newly retired teacher Barbara Follet, all who care very much about students getting access to what makes them feel creative and that art can always be with them. They want students to have the ability to take advantage of these opportunities in Lyndon and surrounding towns. This is set to take place in Fall 2025 and has hopes to continue offering to students.
