LI Dancers geared up for their annual benefit dance recital, with proceeds going back to the arts in the community.

Rebecca McGregor, the program director, hosts this recital every year, it’s a tradition with proceeds going back into movement. “We never have enough funding for arts and education in our communities and support youth and their wellbeing”. “Bring people together and share in the arts really matters today, and then adding that level of giving back makes it’s more special”, (Rebecca McGregor). Not only does she make it a point to include her various classes, she incorporates other groups. Giving back along with including all levels of dance is what she’s passionate about. In the word we both used to describe tonight, the performances were very colorful and uplifting to the audience.
