Danville to Dedicate Town Softball Field

DANVILLE- On Saturday the town of Danville and Danville School will be honoring a long time softball caoch.

Paul Remick is Danville Softball. Remick has coach for 38 seasons, his last being 2022. As a coach he took his teams to 12 state champions leaving with 6 titles the last being in 2021. He has coach 408 wins and was inducted into the Vermont Principals Assocantion Hall of Fame in 2020.

The dedication of the field will take place at the Danville Town Fields at 448 Peacham Rd. it starts at 10:45 before the Richford vs. Danville and the Twinfield vs. Richford softball game.

"Paul is an unbeliveable person his relationships with his players were defiatly the thing thta I saw as his biggest attribute," Danville Athletic Direction Randy Rathburn said.

Danville didn't have enough girls to field their own team this year but, girls from Danville are playing on the twinfield team.
