Update on Body Found in Concord

vsp search warrentCONCORD- The body of a male who was found in Concord on Sunday has been identified as Michael Pimental, 37 of Waterford. Today, Vermont State Police conducted a search warrant at his home at 2394 Duck Road.

Pimental's girlfriend, Kyrstal Whitcomb, and himself both resided in the home. At this point in the investigation, police do believe the homicide is drug related. Whitcomb and her father, Shawn Whitcomb, were arrested on Sunday for federal drug charges. 

After an initial autopsy, Pimental's cause of death was multiple gun shot wounds, and has been classified as a homicide. Pimental's body was found around 11:30 Sunday morning on Victory Road in Concord on the wooded side of the driveway.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a blue 2005 Ford F150 extended cab with Vermont plates 296A851. Anyone who might have seen the vehicle, or has more information about the case, is encouraged to contact the St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.
