Kingdom Trails is One Step Closer

BURKE- Kingdom Trails has always been known for having some of the best mountain biking trails in the entire country, but this week the people of Facebook have spoken. Kingdom Trails edged out the competition in the Bell Built Trail Building Project in the flow trail division, receiving 34% of the popular vote. The winner of the vote was said to receive a grant to make their trails more enjoyable for riders. Although the people have spoken, it is not completely up to them. "We just barley beat out the Tahoe Area Mountain Bike Association who we were really kind of battling back and forth with the other two projects, they weren't getting the support that we were getting so basically it was between us and Tahoe and we just barley squeaked out," said CJ Scott Kingdom who is the Trail Manager at Kingdom Trails.

Even though the votes have been cast for the thirty thousand dollar grant, it is still up to the bell committee to have the final word on who gets the grant "It's going to be a tough call on their part, whether they pick the group that won by percentage or whether they pick a group that didn't win,"said Scott. Kingdom Trails has big plans with the grant if it is received and hopes the Bell Grant Company votes in there favor.
