Burke Mountain Club hosted an event that included food, fun, and lot’s of wool.

Kristen Langlais, a local needle felter who we have seen before put on this event which is based around her favorite passion, needle felting. Local’s of the area joined her lesson of felting, using bunnies as the main object. “Everyone learned how to use core wool, for 3D felted figures and then they covered the core wool with the colors that they wanted to make their rabbits”. “They learned to attach, they learned how to sculpt, they learned how to make the core, and now they're learning how to do the details”, (Kristen Langlais). 

All the material’s were provided, local’s were both supportive of one another’s design and eager to add details, specifically with the bunny's eyes and ears. Both Kristen who ran it and Christine who’s the director of the building want to promote more of these activities, making it a way for more locals to get involved.
