News 7 had the chance to speak to Priscilla Aldrich, who gave us reasoning to the proposed budget increases, specifically the Highway Department. "The reason being is insurance and wages," said Aldrich. "The Highway Department needed to put more money in the equipment funds, so they put in an extra $70,000 for payments on the trucks and graters and the things they have now."

In addition to the proposed budget increases, Aldrich confirmed that she will be seeking another term as Town Clerk, as her current term expires next month. She is also running for Treasurer, Deliquent Tax Collector, Trustee of Public Funds, and School Treasurer.
