Local Bikers Ride the Rhythms

Ride the Rhythms

BURKE - As mountain bike season ends, Kingdom Trails has begun to think about their transition to ski season. As part of this, Kingdom Trails will be holding their 9th annual Ride the Rhythms fundraiser this Saturday at the Tamarack Grill in East Burke.

The money raised will go towards prepping and maintaining Kingdom Trails' nordic trail system. This year's fundraiser will feature live music from Duty Free. Although the event is technically a "fundraiser," raising money is not the only goal.

"This year, we invited all the landowners to come," said Kingdom Trails Executive Director Tim Tierney, "so we're getting our locals and bike enthusiasts to come out and thank our landowners as well, but have fun, most of all, is what we want."

Kingdom Trails closes for the season on Halloween. They have one final event before that, October 27's twenty-mile long CircumBurke Challenge.
