With the reaction from the people attending, he is hopeful that they will have more networking events in the future.

He said, "I definitley think, you know, just hearing what these folks had to say-- and then justing looking at the crowd. I think there's people that are here for a reason and they wanna know what can I bring back to my business to make it better."

Representatives at the event included Vermont Small Business Development Center, Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Northeastern Vermont Development Association, Northern Community Investment Corporation, the Center for Rural Enterpreneurship at Lyndon State College, and the Working Lands Enterprise.

The organizations explained what services they provide for free or low costs. Some of these things included financial planning, grant funding, government contracts, loans and technical assistance, just to name a few.
