Hilltoppers Win Behind Freshman Foot

stjsoccerjpgST. JOHNSBURY -  The St. Johnsbury Academy girls soccer team remained undefeated on the season behind the leg of freshmen Grace Cooke.

Cooke, which led all scorers with three goals, Cooke credited the combination of a strong back and a good midfield with providing her good opportunities to score.

The Lady Hilltoppers have won their three games by a score differential of five points. So far this season the Academy has beaten Lyndon Institute and snapped Peoples Academy long multi-season winning streak. The Academy's only game they did not win resulted in a scoreless tie against Montpelier High School.

The Hilltoppers return to action this Friday as they play against division one foe South Burlington High School.
