Cassandra Wilson Took the Stage in St. Johnsbury

Cassandra WilsonST. JOHNSBURY - Two-time Grammy award winning jazz artist Cassandra Wilson performed at a sold out Fuller Hall in St. Johnsbury Sunday night.


Wilson won Grammys in 1996 and 2009, as well as being named Americas Best Singer in 2001 by Time Magizene.

Fuller Hall held a packed 805 people on Sunday, with tickets ranging from $36 to $72, or $22 for students.  

Jay Craven, The Artistic Director of Kingdom Country Productions had been trying to get Wilson to perform here for many years. While Reuben Jackson Jazz Host at Vermont Public Radio said, "Needless to say, I'm really thrilled."
