L.I. Janitor Pleads Not Guilty To Petit Larceny Charges

janitor arraingedSAINT JOHNSBURY - Janitor Christopher Lafleur was in court Monday facing petit larceny charges after he allegedly stole money from student's dorm rooms.

According to police, earlier this year students at Lyndon Institute noticed money missing from their dorm rooms and setup an undercover camera which caught Lafleur taking the cash.

Lafleur allegedly confessed to taking the money after he was shown the video.The amount taken was $5,000 according to Lyndon Institute officials.

Lafleur is due back in court later this year.
