Taking A Hike On The El Camino

Osher talk last SAINT JOHNSBURY- Today was the last installment of the Fall Osher Talk Series. Many gathered at Catamount Arts to hear and learn about an experienced hiker and her journey. Mary Sturtevant, who is a Therapist and Health educator went on a pilgrimage that started from the French Pyrennes Mountains all the way through the El Camino in Santiago, Spain.

Mary met some people along the way and explains what a great experience it was.
“You quickly, you might meet some people that are hiking about your pace, they have some interesting things and you want to talk to each other. You know you might break off and hike with another group or some other people,” said Sturtevant.
“It’s a wonderful way to meet people from all over the world.” Sturtevant continued. She will present part two of her journey as part of Osher’s spring series which starts sometime in March.

One local group taking donations to cloth the needy.


School Music Wall

6th graders are asking for community donations of pots and pans so they can build a music wall for all students in the school to use on the playground.

The Village sports store donated some cleats to Lyndon Institute
