St. Johnsbury Water Treatment

st j water pumpST. JOHNSBURY - Saint Johnsbury residents will be voting on Town Meeting Day about receiving two bonds to replace the old water pumps and the Moose River water main.

Town officials were briefed in a special select board meeting on the 26th of January, where Chad Whitehead broke down what needed to be done with that project and why it was so important for Saint Johnsbury to upgrade their waste water treatment system.

"Both of these items aren't really frill items. They're items that the town really needs."

The cost of the whole project totals out to slightly over 2.8 million dollars. If the vote passes and the bonds get recieved the users will see about a twenty dollar increase in their taxes.
