Lyndon's Bike Trails Put on The Map

Bike SignLYNDON- The bike and pedestrian committee in Lyndon, has been pushing to make the area more accessible and friendly to pedestrians and bikers alike.  Along with the addition of more lighting on walkways, Lyndon’s bike paths are now on the map.

With some help from a grant, and students from the construction trades program over at Lyndon Institute, this project was able to be checked off the list quite efficiently. New trail signs were installed at two separate locations in town, one at the Park and Ride near the Millers Run Bridge, and another behind Lyndon’s Municipal Building.

Select board member Dan Daley, who also sits on the committee, says that in the future, they hope to link Lyndon’s trail network and the Kingdom Trails network together.
