CONCORD - Concord School’s Girls Basketball easily moved on to the next round of playoffs Tuesday night.
The Lady Wildcats may only be a fourth seeded team, but they played like champions, as the held United Christian Academy to nine points at the half.
Concord Senior Kasey DeGreenia scored nearly half of her team’s points, with a team high 27 in the win. But according DeGreenia, all of her success in the team’s big win, she credits to her teammates.
“The assist is just as important to me and I think that my teammates getting each other going and doing as well,” DeGreenia said. “That's what makes me want to do better.”
Concord beat UCA by a final score of 55 to 23. They’ll look to continue their success further in their quest for a Division IV State Championship.
The Lady Wildcats will play their next game at home against the winner of Wednesday night’s Danville versus Whitcomb game.
