Saint Johnsbury - Locals in the Saint Johnsbury area got the chance to experience a candlelight concert featuring classical remixes of legendary artists Elton John and Queen. The event, held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, aimed to offer a new way for people to enjoy familiar music in an intimate and atmospheric setting.

The show was hosted by Lumos experiences, which feature local live string musicians that performed songs by the known artist in a unique way. Surrounded by glowing candles, the church offered a different setting for people in attendance.

Lumos was created in the UK and has expanded to the United States and Europe, performing in these regions.

"We have a team from the UK that we flew to Massachusetts. We got three local musicians: a violin, viola, and cello, usually from Vermont. We go to Maine, Boston, we go to Connecticut, Rhode Island plus New York. Said Jon, the organizer manager.

The tour series brings popular music into smaller towns and venues across the New England area. Offering a different style to listen to these well-known hits.

"This is our second time back. We did Coldplay three months ago, and we had a sold-out event of 130 people." Said John, the manager.

For locals, the performance provides a unique opportunity to connect with the music of two renowned artists in an unconventional candlelit environment, bringing a fresh and engaging experience right to downtown Saint Johnsbury.
