aspdemsST. JOHNSBURY — Sunday evening, Raise Up Vermont visited Catamount Arts Center to introduce community members to their democratic party candidates.

Elias Greaves, the event organizer and member of Rights and Democracy Vermont has been working with the group since last summer, and has loved every minute of it. “We’re working with a lot of issues that are really important to me.  Just organizing around this idea of a political revolution.” Greaves also mentioned the groups main backer has been Senator Bernie Sanders, and mentioned that “...Bernie Sanders has even come to some of our bigger events."

Among the democratic appearances were candidate for Lt. Governor David Zuckerman, candidate for Vermont House in Caledonia District 3 Scott Campbell, and independent Phil Aldridge.
