Burke Mountain Opens For the Season

EAST BURKE -- Skiers were able to hit the slopes this weekend as Burke Mountain opened for the season.
Saturday at 9 am the first chair headed up the mountain kicking it off.

Skiers were able to ride the Midway Express up and ski the Dipper trail down.
With the sun out on Sunday skiers were able to enjoy all weekend.
Season pass holder Holger Zwickau said "Skiing great today it seems soft, it has grip, it's a great day it's really nice it's amazing to be out thanksgiving weekend. So I'm just super happy about it.." Currently Burke is closed for the week but should be reopened on Saturday.
