Vermonster is Back

monster trucksBRADFORD - The Vermonster is back and that means mud, mud everywhere.

Almost eight thousand people showed up this past weekend for the Vermonster.

The Vermonster is an event is also knows as the "The ultimate mud bar we got the trench we got the rock crawling, and we got Vermonster trucks coming up this place is crazy, absolutely crazy," said Big Sexy the Vermonster Clown.

Jennifer Oakley, originally from Massachusetts moved to Vermont and started the Vermonster eight years ago so her husband could have a place to use his monster truck legally. "We started with twenty five trucks and about two hundred and fifty spectators I'd say yesterday we got around four thousand people we had maybe four hundred trucks," said Jenifer Oakley Vermonsters owner.

The event that really takes a toll on most trucks at the Vermonster is the mud crawl. Many trucks fell victim to the deep mud including "Deep Trouble".  "I broke deep trouble my son actually broke it we had a good day yesterday today were just relaxing," Deep Trouble Owner Steve Morey said. The Vermonster is not just for fun, over $14,000 in payouts were awarded over the weekend.
