lllllllLYNDON- The search for a new superintendent in the Caledonia North Supervisory Union will soon be coming to a close. The position is down to just two candidates; Jen Botzojorns and Chris Pratt.

Botzojorns currently serves as the assistant superintendent in the Chittenden East Supervisory Union out of Richmond. Pratt, also involved in school administration, serves as the superintendent in the Windham Southwest Supervisory Union in Wilmington.

Both candidates spent today touring each school in the district. Schools in the CNSU include Burke, Lyndon, Millers Run, Newark, and Sutton Schools.

A screening committee was created to help determine who was most qualified for the job. A total of four individuals applied, and on January 25th, the committee announced they had narrowed the search down to two.

This evening, the final interviews will take place at the Lyndon Municipal Building and the board plans to make their final decision.

The position became available after former superintendent Victoria Scheufler lost her battle with leukemia this past July. Mary Ann Riggie has been the interim superintendent for CNSU while the board completed the application process.
