Rainville Scholarship

rainvilleDANVILLE-  The Trinstan Southworth Scholarship is awarded to the player who to a student/athlete who best mirrors the depth of character, commitment, loyalty and service to team, school, community and country.This year the award went to Danville High School senior Brady Rainville.

Rainville was not short on criteria for this award, other than the fact that he is a part of numerous clubs at Danville. Rainvile is the president of the National Honors Society, a Jr Facilitator at the Hugh Bryan youth leadership seminar for the state of Vermont, a member of the students against destructive decisions club, not the mention he is also the school valedictorian.

 

Jason Brigham, the assistant coach of the basketball team and a math professor ,wrote the letter of recommendation for Rainville to receive this award."There was no doubt that you could always count on Brady's best no matter what the situation or scenario. They are leading by example kind of spurred on some of his teammates to do the same," said Brigham. The scholarship is worth seven hundred and fifty dollars and will go to the college of Rainville's choosing.
