A Festival of Fall

autumn on the greenDANVILLE - The town of Danville welcomed vendors and visitors from all around for their annual Autumn on the Green festival.

The 15th year of the event that was held on Sunday, October 1, 2017. The festival is held on the first Sunday in October each year to celebrate the beginning of fall. 

This year the green was filled with over 200 vendors and artisans offering everything from jewelry to dog biscuits.

Those who attended the festival were greeted by live music and artisans who were creating products for all to see.

James Gingue was one of the vendors who attended Autumn on the Green and says that it is an amazing opportunity for small business around the area.

“When it comes to a small town like Danville... a lot of people come out and they bring their businesses with them its great exposure and its great for this small town and the economy of this small town to get some more exposure and get their name out there.”

The roads into Danville were filled with people ready to discover the unique, homemade, items that were for sale.

Autumn on the Green will return next year on October 7, 2018.
