Danville- This is a pattern seen across the state,since covid, the use of mail-in ballots have gone up.

In Danville, the town had 1 thousand 7 hundred and 17 ballots requested to be sent for mail in. 1,021 were returned according to Danville Results from the Secratary of State. Danville had yth higest turn out for the election with 69% of regastared voters voting.

"I think people want to get more involved and I think the with having the apsenty ballots available to people tht aren't able to come in it just incases the amount of people that are participating in the election," Town Clerk Wendy Somers said.

Somers expected a good turn out fror the election.
